Morikazu Kumagai
Born in Hokkaido in 1981. Graduated from the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Advanced Artistic Expression. Since 2017, has been living and creating in Shimonoseki and Toyoura Town. Through the act of painting in daily life in the region, explores love and freedom while attempting prayers for all things. Mainly produces paintings, as well as three-dimensional works and ceramic plate works using driftwood from the sea.
