On a canvas spreading the rough texture of sand, block-shaped forms are piled up. The word "castle" is usually considered a symbol of strength and defense. However, the castle depicted in this work has an unstable balance and gives the impression that it might collapse at any moment. This symbolizes the fragility of power and the instability of conflicts over land. Furthermore, it implies the uncertainty of nationhood and identity, as well as fragments of history that change and crumble over time. Castles are often treated as symbols of nations or territories, but the castle in this work appears unstable, with each stone seeming independent. This indicates divisions over land and continuous change. This castle drawn in sand is also not permanent and is destined to eventually collapse. This serves as a metaphor for the destruction and loss faced by Palestine's history and cultural heritage, or alternatively, for its endurance.
