The Noto Peninsula earthquake and the period of aircraft at Haneda marked the beginning of 2024. On a night filled with anxiety, what came into being were "Ms. Dahlia" and "My Lucky Bird." I clearly remember feeling relieved by the presence of this dahlia, thinking "Now everything will be alright." After quite some time, I realized that the dahlia represented my mother, which is why I felt that relief. *This work is an A3 size version of the piece (A2) exhibited at Artexpo New York 2024.
