PROFILE
SHOGEN is a paint artist who went alone to Africa to learn African art Tinga Tinga and creates works using only black, white, red, blue, yellow, and green paint.
At first, he painted concrete subjects such as events and children when he was living in the village of Bunju in Africa, but now, with the theme of awkward and comfortable art, he does not decide what to draw, but paints over the lines accidentally created by the materials placed on the canvas, drawing the emerging subjects.
SHOGEN, who is created without intention, always thinks about what this work is trying to convey.
He is active both domestically and internationally.
