The "Mario Tauchi Exhibition Biomimicry" has now opened.
"Biomimicry" refers to learning from and imitating the ecology and mechanisms of living organisms in nature, applying them to technology and design. It is an important theme that is central to Tauchi's unique art production.
His gaze is directed toward the origin of life, creating unique works by placing the organic shapes of nature, such as the spherical, spiral, filamentous, and rod-shaped forms of fungi, at the foundation of his art.
