The exhibition period for “Mario Tauchi Exhibition Biomimicry” has been extended.
“Biomimicry” means learning from and imitating the ecology and mechanisms of living organisms in nature to apply them to technology and design, and it is an important theme central to Tauchi's unique art production.
His gaze is directed toward the origin of life, placing the organic shapes of nature, such as the spherical, spiral, filamentous, and rod-shaped forms of fungi, at the foundation of his art to create unique works.
